On Remembrance Sunday our morning service included the customary two minutes silence and the laying of a wreath beneath the church’s war memorial.
Later in the day an Ecumenical Afternoon Vigil was held with the focus on prayer for world peace.
The ecumenical service was led by the minister Revd Marcus Hargis in conjunction with Durham Churches Together.
