Community

Sunday is our main gathering and we put on various other activities from time to time: for full details subscribe to our church magazine. Most importantly, by joining us you’ll be part of our community: we’ll keep in touch, we’ll care; you’ll never be isolated and always be in our prayers.

As Christians we want to support those who need a helping hand in life. We have long-standing partnerships with the Waddington Street Centre,  and  Durham Food Bank. Please contact them direct if you need help.We are confident they are the best ones to get support to those who need it and we pleased to support their work.

Being available as a resource for the community is important to us and are premises are used by a wide range of groups. Contact us to see if we can help your group also.

We are linked with Josephine Butler College and open to all students at Durham University. Our Intergenerational evenings continue and we are mutually encouraged by this. We aim to enable new arrivals to Durham to feel at home during their time with us and our established members gain fresh insights from around the UK and wider world.  If you want to be part of this, do let us know.

Each year we nominate charities with our fundraising efforts collected and distributed to make a difference to those organisations who need it.
